Wear A Mask Poem by Randy McClave

Wear A Mask

Rating: 5.0

Why do I wear a mask
Just don't glare at me and ask
You know that answer already.
I wear a mask for my protection
It's my very own design and selection
So, your stupidity just steady.

When it rains I also wear a raincoat
And I always wear a life jacket on my boat
They are there for my safety and assurance.
I wear glasses when I cut grass
And a respirator whenever I smell gas
Because, those devices are my insurance.

My hands are not never ever bare
When with contaminants, latex gloves I wear
Again, it's always all for my health.
Firefighters wear their helmets and suits
And also their fire retardant boots
Ones life is indeed your greatest wealth.

I always wear my mask inside the store
I obey the lines placed upon the floor
So, please stay 6 feet away from me.
I want you to respect my rights and belief
I will not give, or accept any grief
All that I want is peace, and my safety.

I want no one to sneeze on my face
Nor their touching or coughing in my space
I don't want the diseases that they are carrying.
You don't wear a mask, well that's okay
Go unprotected with your friends and family everyday
But, from a disease I won't be the one they'll be burying.

Favorite hole of the virus is only the human mouth and nose (without other holes of the body or animals) ! ! ! SO Human has to wear the mask on mouth and nose cautiously to protect own-self from the VIRUS (I think deceptive VIRUS or DECEPTIVE pestilence) ! ! ! !
