We Worship Poem by Doris Clore Demaree

We Worship

Long ago when the world began
Eve, the woman, and Adam, the man,
Worshiped God in the Garden.

Then as they wandered to and fro
And planted seed so food would grow,
They worshiped outside the Garden.

All around us is the beautiful land.
We know it comes from God's own hand,
And we worship, but not in the Garden.
