We Were We Are We Could Be
He saw Her, & she saw him,
And their hearts found a shared melody that
will never be lost until the world ends... Or so
they thought.
And then the storms came, &
Raged with an unimaginable fierceness
She blamed him, & he blamed her
Both still trying to swim against the tide,
So she lost him & he lost her,
but as they were drowning, they realised that's
when they could finally... breathe.
