I need with Fire God’s great Delight
I need Salvation’s Lamb
God’s Door to Life, His Way & Light
His Truth to who I am

“Come wash me Lord and make me whole
Relieve me of my sin
Within Your hand please save my soul
And stir my heart within

Submerge and soak me in Your Flame
Revive me in Your Light
Come purge Your servant free of shame
Till pure within Your sight

Who change their ways, the bible says
Will find Salvation’s grace
And those who follow all their days
Will live to see Your face

A contrite heart You won’t despise
A humble child You love
When thus I’m changed before Your eyes
I too may rise above

Remaining drunk on Satan’s wine
I’d wield his evil knife
How could Your Lamp begin to shine?
In such a selfish life

The other man was always wrong
How oft I’ve come to ruin?
When arrogance would sing its song
When pride would play its tune

If pride once more should raise its head
If arrogance, rise free
Remind me of the life I’ve led
Lord help me bend my knee”…
