We Need To Talk

It’s strange how quiet truth can be
When screaming in a wood
Yet truth can lead the blind to see
And deaf to hear so good

I love to talk about my Lord
I do it all the time
Both day and night, I’m never bored
I even speak in rhyme

Since Jesus came and set me free
I’ve had this urge to speak
Just now and then is not for me
But seven days a week

We; need to talk an hour or two
Then maybe you’ll agree
Perhaps the truth will speak to you
And give you love like me

Then just like fire upon the tongue
The truth of God can spread
It makes the old again feel young
And life to those quite dead

The word of God is like a seed
And we; the living earth
When grown, it’s meets our every need
And leads to second birth

To speak of God is like a kiss
A hug, a warm embrace
The promise of a greater bliss
When first we see His face

These words should not be as the dew
Take heed to what they say
For if you’ll let them speak to you
The truth could make your day.

I just wanted to say, you have wrote a beautiful piece, in writting this, and even better yet...it is so true! Together, I will pray with you, for all the lost, in this world today that doesnt know these things and more so..those who dont believe, and there are so many......Again beautiful work....Gena Kilgore of Georgia
