WE NEED OTHERS TO VALUE WHAT WE DO

We need others to value what we do
We need their care
Their correction
Their praise
We need others to say ‘yes’ to us.
We need this so so much.

And yet in our fear of rejection
We dare not ask -
In our pride
We hold back
We strive to be
And work alone.

And alone we falter and fail
In endless frustration.
