We Don't Talk Poem by Pen Anthony

We Don't Talk

Mother asked
'How are your friends, how is Gabriel
I was going to say he's okay
Then it came out
'we don't talk '

Thrice she asked
Thrice i answered
We don't talk
Now concerned

She asked who i talk to
I told her all about my friends
She was interested
The concerned look
Diluted into a smile

She did ask
To meet some of my new friends
Which means i have to make new friends
For my new friends live in my phone.

This is very nice! Hurry and make some new friends so that you can introduce them to your mother. Meanwhile, keep writing!
