We Are But Birds Poem by Nagourta

We Are But Birds

Rating: 3.4

All who dwell among us
They are but birds.
They are sometimes beautiful,
and sometimes happy.
Deep inside their bodies, where
daylight does not shine
Their secrets are exposed,
they are but instinct driven.
And so the birds among us,
how can they be loved?
When they cannot understand how
wretched that they are.
