Way Laid Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Way Laid

Way laid

The love burns from inside
But turns tide
Brings in favor
And leads you with honor

Look at nature
You will feel sure
About our bond
As if felt by fishes in pond

We need not feel wind
It touches so kind
Even blind man feels kind touch
So love is as such

Person may breathe from distance
But it shall be felt at once
As if someone is very much eager
To be near and an apt listener

Never compare
As lover
Just is one to feel
It will be felt unique

So measure not
You will be caught
No compensation shall be paid
You will be way laid
