Watch the Desert Willow
In the morning sun
Light shining off its slender leaves
And off it's purple bells
The bees have smelled the scent
They congregate
Around the Desert Willow
Who welcomes their attention.
Beautiful and solitary
Alone in the great Desert
Seemingly without any moisture
Gracing the landscape
A radiant Queen
Smiling at her subjects
Attired in the colors
Of true royalty

Beautiful partner. Makes me, as always, long to be out there. I miss the great desert.
