Warning To Earth Poem by Indira Renganathan

Warning To Earth

Rating: 5.0

Hot Sun

'So hot' said the Sun
'Sail through all seas' said earth
'Yes, sweet dreams' said sun

Hungry Sun

Sun was sailing seas
All aqua steamed high beyond
Grilled earth well eaten

Angry Earth

Angry earth bittered
Sun hid and clouds rushed to pour
'Hold your tongue' warned God

A vivid and brilliant depiction of the long term heating of earth's surface.Liked the superb imagery of these three well crafted haiku.
