War....... Why Do They Call It Civil?
People see an ugly battle
somehwhere everyday
This is what we're all exposed to,
in every single way.
Fighting, dying, is what we see
We're losing this battle called war,
yet, in some countries, this is a an everyday sight,
They don't cry for the fallen anymore.
This war.......is so ridiculous,
it's really got me mad,
Why are we all fighting, dying,
for reasons that are bad.
We need to stop this, right now,
the war, the fighting, the dying,
because if I was to say I understood this war,
I'd definatly be lying.
What's so civil about war anyway?
an insightful piece.... In-house fighting.. civilisation starts at a place that can be established and called home...war within leeches from when attempts to dominate power controls others' mindsets.. keep writing them One Peace at a Time from that beautiful Tableland...
There is absolutely NOTHING civil about war! But this poem is fantastic! Great work. Keep writing.

Amie! You have well attacked War! I like anti-war poems like Ershad Mazumdaar. I think he likes this poem very much. I too tried a couple on this subject.Good going. keep it up10
