Walking Dead Poem by Lisa Brewer

Walking Dead

Rating: 5.0

So tired,
So exhausted,
Ready to give up,
All the world around me doesn't convince me that I should stay,
stay here, on this earth, there is nothing that keeps me here
No family, friends, material, food...
I eat because im a human, it is a need, but not a want
I hate that im weak and must eat
I hate to eat, it doesn't taste good any more now that my world has turned to gray
It's like the food turns to ash in my mouth and i have to force it down
I'm so tired
So exhausted
of staying alive

What makes a person want to die sick of living I wonder why I can often see their point of view but I'm a survivor what about you Remember your loved ones no matter how far coz they really matter, not the tabz in the jar or maybe it cuts you deep inside the knife in the kitchen you try to hide So please dont die, don't dispair some one that loves you will always be there maybe in spirit or just in your thoughts dotting the 'i'`s and crossing the 'noughts'
