Walk Everywhere Poem by Emenike Ikolodo

Walk Everywhere

Given the choice
I'd walk everywhere
No transport, but a stroll
Here and there
Swinging my arms
Without a care
Stare at the sky
Breath in fresh air
No cars, buses,
Taxis or trains
No scooters, bikes
Boats or planes
A lazy stroll
Is all I need
When I want
To set my
Mind free
