Waiting For Time Poem by Mindless minds

Waiting For Time

Rating: 5.0

I hibernate in my mind,
thoughts no longer conscious,
I lay dormant,
undisturbed,
winds of judgment, blow outside of me.
Eyes closed, breath synchronized with moment.
Neither sleeping nor deceased,
I am departed with civilization around me.

Position motionless
Frost covers me.
I continue this approach for existence.
I sip the drips of sadness;
Dew in the mourning.

Days progress to weeks,
to acknowledge months,
to provoke years.

I sit unacknowledged, undisturbed.
Seasons arrive, seasons exit.
Until my eyes open,
I see
Beauty around me
provokes me
I smile
Change has arrived.
Time is here
The concrete has crumbled, rotten away
To let way
Nature surrounds me, where solid once was.
I have waited long
My hibernation is over.
My mind fully awake.

Birds sing,
I see nature all around me.
No more buildings,
Only trees and blue skies.
The time has arrived
