Waiting For My Moment To Arise Poem by Kay Davies

Waiting For My Moment To Arise

Im waiting for my moment to arise,
To peer into your beautiful eyes,
Thinking how long can it be,
Until you are the one with me.
The opportunities have been endless,
But yet still I wait,
Waiting to have the courage to kiss your lips,
Waiting for the moment you sweep me off my feet,
Procrastinating because I know with me the rest of civilization will shut out,
This isnt enough time yet I have not much time left.
A tear in my eye as you walk out the door,
Knowing this opportunity might not come again,
Yet still I wait.
