Waiting Poem by H Seeking

Waiting

Rating: 0.5

Behold with trepidation I await
the results, my fate
The morrow will unfold
what life has in hold

She took me unawares
took away all my cares
Life cautiously sells its wares
Engarde! Success for those who prepares

So all along, I have been waiting
In my mind patiently debating
Still doggedly waiting,
Endlessly just waiting, waiting..

Is this the one for which my soul sings
Love, hope & treasure brings
Countless years just waiting
Anxiously until I stopped

And Lo! Life gave me more than I hoped
Shadow, doubts all groped
But they had no chance
To match loves dance
