There, just waiting for you
At the end of the dock
Listening to the waves crash
Waiting for your return
Sitting in the shallows
Feeling the calm of the sea
Patiently waiting for the day
With feet hanging off the pier
And toes skimming the water
Waiting, just waiting…for you
