Volcano Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Volcano

Angry hands
Unclenched
Have let go;
There are no
More rocks to throw.

The volcano
Of hot molten lava
Wearies; finally
Blows itself out.

Skies are clear
On a beach somewhere
Where it rests
On more
Peaceful shores.
