Virtue Poem by Floy Dy Ra Aka Floyd Floydson

Virtue

Rating: 5.0

A state of character
intellectual and in moral
useless to understand
what the purpose is
of examining virtue
but to become good –
a correct action is
governed by the rational
part of the soul,
by correct reason.
A physical analogy is
not to undermine strength
both exercise not with
too little or too much.
Not to act a virtue
not to be a paragon of virtue
on the path of virtue
because the reward of virtue
is in the theory of virtue
the virtue of modesty.
Virtue is its own reward.
