Village Code Poem by Mia Ocean

Village Code

The villagers are wise people.
They know everything about us.
They are wizards without wands,
geniuses without speech.
They have no voice.
The whole village is voiceless,
because of the Mistake.

It hapenned a very long time ago.
They are trying to undo it all,
by writing.

The villagers have so much to say,
but there voice is lost with the Mistake,
so they must write it.

Their words have meaning,
and then another meaning,
which is like a code,
that fixes the mistake.

The more they write,
the more the code is dicovered.

There is only one problem.

The beasts are coming.
