Video Games Poem by Randy McClave

Video Games

Let us all go outside
Our bicycles we can ride,
Maybe take them to the park
And stay and play until dark.
We could all then play tag
Or collect leaves or bugs in a bag,
Or play football or baseball in the lot
And in tag, you've I've caught.
We could maybe fly a kite
And then look upon nature's beautiful site,
There is so much that we can do
But, you don't care or have a clue.
I enjoy being caught in the rain
And listening to a passing train,
Then watching the clouds in the sky
And always asking myself, "Why? ".
But, instead of ever playing outdoors
You would rather go to computer stores,
I now understand the addiction claims
It's all in Video games.
