Vicious Trend Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Abounding in the net is an awful trend
So vile and vicious to comprehend,
A culture that devours with its venom
Words that can cut, cruel as they come.

Born from the sheer Hate seeded within-
Unresolved Anger at the state one is in,
A habitation where Kindness is so alien
Such is the breeding ground of furious men.

Like a crab that snaps, claws at everything,
Their vicousness shows in the words they're saying.
Appalling indeed to find the darkness of heart
The absence of care that most humans impart.

Home is the place where these have their source,
Years of nurturing that by Example took course.
To undo this trend is to break the inner core
There to heal the whole person to who he was before.
