The earth has been weaned,
From the bossom of the universe_
Hurtled toward the flame
Far away from whence it once nestled_
Where the divined eye sees not
It has done so not on its accord;
It has done so for the suffering of all life,
For all life has kissed a thorn,
Thus it shall be consumed by fire_
And all shall wilt and perish!
The earth is indeed in flames,
And not because of fire,
But by life's foolish pride
Leaving nothing but bitter ashes
And destruction
Surely, the earth shall not grow again,
We had ample time to turn away,
But we have straddled too far away
From the hope of redemption
Thus we watch in misery
As the sun slowly freezes over
