Value Poem by Andrew Horsey

Value

All of us try
Ego magnifies it for most
Friends say what you want to hear

Team is a good cliche
Froth with individual agenda
Franic when it comes off the rail

Yet deep in the heart reality reins
can't hide from the truth
Rock-em Sock-em Robot nobody feels hurt

The loyal ones wonder
Chiefs, Indians in the wake
Money, worth most often defined

Truth never hides for long
Chaos from within, always confused
Value breaks the heart

I know, I pick up the pieces
But not for long
As my value is defined by me
