Valentine's Day Poem by Jacob macharia

Valentine's Day

Rating: 5.0

Greetings to all couples,
Who acknowledge and value Valentine,
And to all the singles,
Who choose it to be just any other dine.

Let thee who adore, cherish them,
Thee who love, show them,
Thee who wish to love, find them,
And thee who feel others, tell them.

It's just a day in the calendar,
That gives someone's heart joy,
Calculates their worth not in a tabular,
But in the acts of who brings their merry.

You might not have them yet,
But at their mention your face twinkle,
That's evidence enough to put a bet,
That you too got a crave to mingle.

When 15th February peeps,
Let's not forget to remember,
That temporary courtship weeps,
While a long term one is worth a memoir.
