Unique Me Poem by Jacob macharia

Unique Me

Just like the finger-prints, we are unique.
Created, purposed and endorsed differently.
You can try to impersonate or imitate me,
But the main self lies deep in me.

In no way can i be you,
Nor can anyone be me-that's creation.
I roam, loathe, criticise, crave, embarrass, care-less,
boast, giggle and laugh which maybe ain't your traits.

To this extent, i cant struggle to suit into another person's life, nor do good to another's peril.
I cant change to be loved but all i can manage is,
To be that desirable toddler to ape.

Tremendously i fall, but that's just provisional.
I make mistakes but somebody somewhere is swift to erase-
I feel weak and betrayed, but hope rejuvenates with every dawn-
There is reason behind every life's tackle.

Should i wrong, poke my nose but don't back-bite.
Let me acknowledge the lesson behind it;
Consequences if i cant keep up to them,
Let me though not be judged-
'cause some trials are worthful bear.
