Valentine Poem by Leonard Dabydeen

Valentine

Offer
sweet something
into your lover's ear
say, 'I love you.'
in a warm whisper
feeling her closeness
with soft lips
brushing her ears
as goose pimples stir
unrevolting love
immense joy
pulsating
a valentine nugget
of a golden heart.
