Up Date Bout New Years Rezolushuns Poem by Billy Bob Noes

Well first couple weeks of the year went purty good
But then I stopped follerin my Rezolushuns as I should
I think thet the first one to go was bout swearin
when the Damn buttons popped offin the coat I was wearin
Come ta think of it, thet's do to breakin the one bout eatin
Which happen cause my huntin brougt some good meat in
As far as fer savin money I were doing quite fine
Till wile out huntin I drove the pickup across the state line
I got a site-atshun for over the limit with my speed
and that fer sur started my wallut to bleed
The policeman made a crack that he thot was real funny
but I just gritted my teeth thinkin bout how I'd be out monney
Back home I decided to keep that hole inceedent under rap
till my wife leaned in close and gave my sholder a tap
'You bin awful shut-mouthed since you got home' says she
'Didn't ya make a New Year promise to share more with me? '
'Ok, well ya got me' I said with a pout
I worked up some grit and then let it all out
Then I promised to make up for my failin some way
It was purty much quiet for the rest of the day
When we got round to bedtime and I turnt the lite out
Woman said 'Billy Bob, you kent go to bed with thet pout'
She give me a real sweet kiss on the top of my haid
'Thar's more where thet come from if you want it' she said
One kiss led to two and you can guess war thet leads
(Suffice it ta say we both met our fisical needs)
I remembert to keep one rezolushun (as best as I can)
Cause whilst I banged her, I was quite the gentleman
