Untold Poem Poem by Abdul Wahab

Untold Poem

What I wanted to say I could not say yet
In my poems which have been written till date
So, oh, my traveller stops here for a while
And listen to me carefully that you have won
Whereas I gracefully lose the uneven battle
But in it, no ignominy I see as you are better
And the life, later, I could not manage well
It does not mean I will allow you to humiliate me
Nor under the gun shall I put my loyalty on sale
Nor can you buy my honesty nor can you bribe
To make me say anything wrong against my tribe
My soul is of iron made and it always roams free
You may cut my boughs yet I stand like a tree
