Untitled Day Poem by Poetical Analysis

Untitled Day

To be born on a day that everyone knows
To have something to say that everyone woes
Means pain is part of you atomic structure
But it doesn't guarantee you'll see the juncture
Heal over Yale & choose the ill road
Find religion in the burden of the slave's load
Calendars & gods rise upon the same flames
As the ritual to Jupiter carries the Olympic games
Birthed to slay princes, crush crowns, & meld thrones
Cloaked in a slave's flesh; carried by a slave's bones
Veil massacres in a Thanksgiving feast to remind their children how they perceive peace
Masquerade slaughters as exploratory discoveries to asphyxiate so as to sustain resistance to recovery
Wipe away days that contest what you do
A year you know, one you knew, & the ones that parade away in a line of brand new
Where does she blow; that day that ye know from whence doth she come & to where does she go
To be born on that journey somewhere along the way
Not just live in a life but exist as a day
