Female Poem by Poetical Analysis

Female

Faith and hope of man
Mother of the land
Height upon which life does stand

Evolution's very means
Essence of humanity's dreams
Every child's queen

Fuel of passion soul of devotion
She is the image her reflection the ocean
Her eyes cure all like a potion

Idolatry has laid her low
Convincing man she is their woe
So we love her as a foe

With scaled eyes and shame fed pride
Men fight the truth and live the lie
In our folly women die

Mothers turn to a muddy marsh
A son's devotion is offered harsh
A beautiful glimpse of a perfect farce

To honor her is declared a sin
Admitting defeat is letting her win
Slandering our ancient kin

Now I will accept the fate
Of challenging this sacred hate
Her simple image of a simple mate

Have I been tricked by her wicked looks
Exposed in all the sacred books
Or are they in truth the real crooks

I'll make my stance with her ways
Not in worship but in praise
Committed to learn to change these days

That beat her like she was owned
Rule her like she is the throne
Then cited weakness when she moaned

Her winter lasted far too long
In the cold she's proven strong
Now is the time to sing her song.
