i need you
your touch
your smiles
your eyes
your promises
your gentle words
your loving heart
i wait for you
with time you'll come around
so here i sit
proving my love
my dedication
to make it work
im playing my cards right
to show you
how much i care
you never know what you'll discover
when you journey into the unknown
sometimes you might be surprised
to know that someone longs for you
as much as you long for them
i try to show that im not letting go
im fighting for what i love
and to hold on to it
through the rises and the falls
ive made my mistakes
stumbled and have fallen
youve been there to pick me up
so many thoughts
on both ends
remain unspoken
always by choice
everything i say
those words
resemble my heart
my soul
the nature and condition
of everything i feel for you
without you
everything i have is useless
passion
love
life
is nothing without you
but i mean these words
ill hold on to
and cherish
every moment spent with you!
