Unrequited Poem by Rebecca Randle

Unrequited

Rating: 4.6

If tomorrow was a feeling
And love- a sight to see,
I'd feel eternity's embrace
Every time you looked at me.

But if indifference was an ocean
And I, a little stone
You'd toss me to the angry waves
And let me drown alone.

A very creative poem, an excellent read.--Melvina--

I think this is the best poem I've read on this site all week- very cleverly conceived as well. Metrically, the poem might flow even better if 'each' replaced 'every' in the fourth line-but of course, it's great regardless!
