Daddy Poem by Rebecca Randle

Daddy

Rating: 5.0

Cold blue eyes.
Cut right to the soul,
Pierce right to the bone.
Cold like ice,
And cold like stone.
Cold like indifference,
Like a child left-alone.

Cold blue eyes.
They smothered innocence
With selfishness and blame,
An ugly shade of blue,
A shade without a name,
Mirror image of my own
Reflection of the shame.

You paint a rather sad picture here. Excellent poem-Melvina-
