Unforgotten Poem by Brittany Marsh

Unforgotten

Wishing she was here
To love one more time
Wishing she was here
To feel her body next to mine
I miss the nights we spend together
letting everything just flow
How could it have happened
Why did she have to go
It wasn't supposed to be like this
We should still be together
But it all just went away
Floated away like a feather
All that's left is memories
Memories of a fading man
She's at a far off place
A distant beautiful land
To be with him right now
Would mean so much
To feel her beside me
And recognize his touch
Why do people pass away
Why do they have to go
The answer to this question
No ne may ever know
All that is believed is this
They've gone to a special place
To meet the one any only father
And talk to him face to face
