Apart from saying (Strassen-) kreuzung
for (street-) crossing, (road-) junction,
a Gerguy can say Knotenpunkt (knot point) .

One giving directions
can leave out the 'punkt',
simply say, 'Links am nächsten Knoten',
('Turn left at the next knot') ,
and expect to be understood.

Before that he might say,
'Alles gut! ' (All good!) .
