Underlining Poem by Amanda Cruz

Underlining

walls closing in sky is falling a shallow breath flows out downward fall, fall, flat to the ground sinking in like quick sand filling, filling up no breath light turns to dark silence nothingness feeling of emptiness heart falls past the spine trying to rip through my back it tries harder and harder, harder until it decide to to just flutter then slower, calmer barely a pulse and the light is nearly out but then comes a new day and it continues on to happen all over again.
