Underground Devotee Poem by Melisa Peter

Underground Devotee

On no account have I been the category
To articulate what I feel
So fundamentally I trade in the whole thing within
And with you it was not dissimilar
I desire to enlighten you yet again,
Believe me I've attempted before
So, I suppose this is familiar…

However there's an element of me,
That just can't take that option once more,
So I distrust that you'll yet be totally aware,
Which could be very well with you,
But it's wounding me inside,
Ask girl Eve, she believe,
I opt not to demonstrate it,
Though I'm pretty in no doubt you perceive,

I presume to place it like ‘I'm your underground devotee',
That tag appears to fit just precise,
I don't know what I akin to in you so much,
But you're on my psyche, daytime and nighttime,

Possibly it's the manner in which you seem,
So seductive I can't obtain sufficient,
Or how you make me feel,
When you casually say that I'm beautiful,
I right away not recall all other things and next,
Perhaps it's the way you take ages to get back to my text,
Which I'm finding very cute,
Psychotic right?

Consider they say, more attentive, less attractive,
And less attentive, more attractive,
Puzzling that?
Or should I say it's just the way you smile,
Then again it might be just all of you,

Acquiring to know you seems worth my credit,
Nevertheless I suppose I'll never know what it is,
My exact sensations I will rather conceal to you,
I'll just admire you from a mile,
I don't wanna be an addict,
I'm not definite what else there is to perform,
I think I've mentioned this before.

Your eyeball glimmers like a radiance being shone two beauty emeralds,
You are the true description of splendor,
Your character cannot be parallel to any,
Your ingenuity at a standard so mysterious,
In my eyes, you are faultless,

Goosebumps amuse my membrane,
Emotional barrier I am so impatient,
I wish to let you in?
Yes? No?
Yes! No!
Well, I don't know!

I just want to be a shoe lace and hold you tight
Just like that night,
Everything seeming so bright,
Every move feeling so right,
In my sight, alright!

Play your song,
Hit a bong,
Strip a thong,
And do it strong,
I know this sounds pretty wrong..

I stared in to your eyes, ,
Seeking deep in to your core
To witness a glance of compassion,
I may not discern what tomorrow might convey,
For God only comprehends,
The gold inside my heart,
Which I desire to allot my entire being to,
I know I don't need to attest my emotions
To realize that they are factual,

Goosebumps amuse my membrane,
Emotional barrier, I'm so impatient,
I wish to let you in?
Yes? No?
Yes! No!
Well, I don't know..

I just want to be a shoe lace and hold you tight,
Just like that night,
Everything seeming so bright,
Every move feeling so right,
In my sight, alright!

Play your song,
Hit a bong,
Strip a thong,
And do it strong,
I know this sounds pretty wrong
