Undercover Spy Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Undercover Spy

Undercover spy

Jury was selected; around ten
They took days; at the end
“Both guilty…”

Story is long and crazy
Narrations; politics

Politics is snake
Venom head; rattle tail

Chameleon; Caterpillar
A spy, sold-Arab
Talked sweet; got involved

“Let’s kill the Western Whites.”
“Infidels; non-Islam”

To me he, is Hamid,
(Mohammad‘s brother)
A young man and in need.

“Work with us.”
He was told: “be spy.”
And he was.

He approached as friend,
And sometimes, customer
Depending, changed color.
Human? No! A shame…

Legally authorized; a liar.

Hollywood and press,
Agents of MI6, CIA
Spying is a shame
Is most inhumane

But Hamid, young poor man
We forgive, understand.
