Under Oath Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Under Oath

Under Oath

With a hand on a book
Is to tell "…the truth,
And nothing but truth."

But as says President
Both he and the others
Keep lying and are fake.

I received a message
From an old friend
That sparked a flame.

I called him to question
If the person mentioned:
"Is alive? Doing well? "

Used to be young singer,
And by youths accepted…

I flew Hercules,
We carried load, people,
Once, the mentioned singer
Was among the soldiers,
And one of passengers.

Thanks to superpowers
Yemen was divided!

I carried to Oman
Hundreds of soldiers
Because of KGB, CIA,
To serve the USA.

I, as said, and will say,
Was dog of the dog of
Pentagon, Washington,
Barked for the USA!

Not all but many of
Those soldier-officers
Were from old friends.

It was hard to take them
Healthy and joking but
Bringing dead, injured.

I guess shah, on return
To throne and palace
Took the oath of slave
In serving his masters!

Exactly that was cause
For me and those like me
To accept to rebel…

Now we are in swamp
Of the dirty mullahs
Confused, we question:
"Which of two is better? "

Comes to mind proverb:
"Yellow dog and jackal
Are the same, brothers…"

Each, all of governments
Are full of filthy fakes
Of shrines and churches!

The best oath is Natives'
Swearing on Thunder
And Baluch on the wind,
With others on water.

Am tired of frills,
Want me out of crease,
Love to live in the woods
With clay, wearing wool!

Want to go to river
Leave clothes, be naked
Let skin flirt with
The breeze and current.

Modern life is my hell!
