[undeclared Realization] Poem by Frozen Beauty

[undeclared Realization]

Rating: 4.8

examining the rationale
to confess this masquerade-
my angst could be unfounded
yet i'm beyond afraid.
the look in your eyes
stole my heart i swear-
the warmth in your affection
still lingers in the air.
the words left undiscovered
held back for another day-
with regard to slight allusions,
you heard what i couldn't say.
waves of excitement
rushed through my veins-
now that you've gone,
the feeling still remains.

I think this is a feeling we've all felt; the abandonement, loss -of love. But you wrote what we could not say, and in seuch a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing. You have an amazing depth in your writing. All my best Agnes

I have just read the last nine poems on your list, and this is the best one. I have a lot more to tell you but I will do so in my message to you. Excellant job of rhyming in this poem. There are a lot of poets here who couldn't rhyme this as well as you did. See message. Greenwolfe 1962

its an okay poem (for a hallmark card) you said you wanted me to criticize it right? ok well its a little redundant, in the fact that we have all read poems on this sooo do feel free to start writing about something new any day now and it has GREAT IMAGERY, that I can not lie, but try telling us what you want to say with out saying it, you start off leaving the reader wondering at first but than you just up and tell us what your feeling, keep the emotions coming before you conclude the poem. overall a 8 good stuff! !

Another very good write, and still out of the ordinary. What I do for practice is to pick any topic, no mater how off the wall it is and try to write something about it. For instance...car bumpers...
