Unconditional Love Poem by Miethi Goswami

Unconditional Love

Rating: 5.0

You have seen me ugly,
In unkempt hair,
Bushy eyebrows,
The morning swollen eyes,
Yet I have heard you say, 'You are beautiful'

You have seen me cranky,
At times nasty,
You have caught me nagging,
You know that I am stubborn,
Yet I have heard you say, 'I love you the way you are'.

You know that I am clumsy,
I drop things and forget to pick,
I hog like a hog, and,
I laugh out loud unabashedly,
Yet you have asked, 'Will you please marry me? '.
