Not knowing which direction
Many paths lay before you
Letting go, leaving it up to your soul
Stumbling to your knees
Falling on your face
Only to get back up and keep the pace
Skin grows tough
Blocking out the pain
Heart hardens
Eyes focused
Path narrow
Dark is now the only way
Forgetting why you started
Living life through rose colored glasses
Until a tornado comes and clears more paths
Mind free again
Remembering when, remembering why
Letting in the light
Carrying the heavy load
Don’t need to know
Leaving it up to fate
