That you love me
That I power your world
With my smile when you see me

I say...
That I love you
That you are my fairy tale
And all of my dreams come true

You need...
Me to hold you
To understand the hurts
That you are still wading through

I need...
You to understand
I have been hurt as well
But will never let go of your hand

You say...
That I am your partner
I am more than just a girlfriend
But I'm scared you can't get over her

I say...
That you are my life
I know it scares you to think
of a future with me as your wife

I know...
We have lots to overcome
A piece of paper will not change
our love, regardless of the outcome

We can...
Make it through
Rougher times are yet to come
I'll fight them with my love for you
