Unbinding Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Unbinding

I move forward
At a snails pace
Chary of every turn
All I need is unknown place

Every one around me
Is a familiar face
They belong to 'our' world
Everywhere I find your trace

I don't repent loving you
Or giving you all that I had
I just resent being a fool
Of not knowing I was replaced

This I know
That letting go
Will make me lighter

That in turn
Will help me earn
Trips to unknown
Flying higher

And then my past
Will no longer last
Just the essence
Of the present
Will surround
And fill my heart
