Una Melodía Tranquila
cuando fluyen lagrimas de dicha
el amor sonrie al amado
mi sencillo relato
habla de un milagro celestial
ah, amado, pero mi corazon latia tan fuerte
que esa idea no te atormente!
he visto su hermosa mirada
solo en secreto
cielo, haz que asi sea!
aqui lograre verte, dicha mia!
el sol y la luna se han ido
han caido las estrellas del cielo
alma angelica!
que bondad y nobleza!
jamas olvidare tu clemencia
te dare gracias eternamente
I love the Spanish language but I'm only a beginner.The imagery of the poem is wonderful from what I can gather from a translation I got off the web but if you could send me your own translation I would be delighted. I intend to read and translate your other Spanish poems as well. I can generally understand the poems and I very much appreciate they being in Spanish.
