Two Poem by liz freed

Two

every where I look I see 2 of something,
2 arms to hold who ever you love,
2 shoulders one to rest my head the other to look up at you,
it takes 2 to kiss,
2 to hug,
2 to dance and
2 legs to run to you.
it takes 2 eyes to look into someone's soul,
2 to make a married couple,
and 2 to fall in love,
1 bed for 2 people,
1 house for a family to begin,
2 people to find they are perfect for each other.
so....why is it that I lay here, looking at the sky and wonder why I am the only ONE here.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was laying down in my front yard and started to look around. I was thinking to my self and started to write. I came up with this as I looked all around me seeing that every thing had a match or pair. I thought about how lonely I felt and came up with this.

A very creative write. It's funny the things that can inspire a poem to come forth. Rest easy! Love will find you when the moment is right!
