Rose's Red Poem by liz freed

Rose's Red

Rose's are red, violet's are blue
sugar is sweet but not like you,
the violets fade, the rose fall
but you get sweeter, all in all.

As shore a the grass grows around the stump,
you are my darling sugar pop!
when the sun don't shine the day is cold,
but my love for you don't get old.

the ocean is deep, the sky is blue,
sugar is sweet and so are you.
the ocean waves and the sky gets pale,
but my love is true, and it never fails,
for you!
