Twin Towers Poem by Joann Thompson

Katie why is everyone so sad
Why are the people on T.V. so mad
Mr.Plas told us that those people were fools
Mom was crying when I got home from school

She said some people are just mean
That's the most dust I've ever seen
Driving planes into buildings, I just don't understand
I wonder how long they had it planned

My dad says everyting will change, espically the U.S.
But he seems to think it's for the best
As for me I still don't really grasp
If they wanted something that bad, why didn't they just ask
